On Saturday, UFC Vegas 101 hosted the first MMA event of 2025 and it did not disappoint as it showcased plenty of quality stoppages and some back-and-forth action.

Brazilian Lightweight, Thiago Moises, managed to get redemption at UFC Vegas 101 when beat Trey Ogden by unanimous decision.
Marco Tulio made it nine wins in the row and four consecutive KO/TKO wins when he stopped Ihor Potieria in the first round on his UFC debut, making him a potential prospect in the Middleweight division.

main card
The Main Card picked up the momentum from the end of the prelims when Punahele Soriano knocked out Uros Medic in just 31 seconds of the first round.
Christian Rodriguez went back to winning ways and became the first fighter to defeat UFC debutant, Austin Bashi, by unanimous decision.
In what would be awarded Fight of the Night, Roman Kopylov started his winning streak after knocking out Chris Curtis in the last second of the three-round bout with a brilliant head kick. Although, the stoppage seemed controversial from referee, Mark Smith, as Curtis wasn't completely out.
After being knocked down during round one, Cesar Almeida came back and knocked out Abdul Razak Alhassan with a wicked left hook in the same round, earning a Performance of the Night bonus.
Santiago Ponzinibbio succeeded in the Co-Main Event when he broke his two-fight losing streak and defeated Carlston Harris by TKO in the third round.
Finally, the Main Event saw two Brazilians battle it out for three rounds with Mackenzie Dern ending up on top after submitting Amanda Ribas with an Armbar to start a winning streak and get her revenge on the 31-year-old. Dern's stoppage win would earn her an extra $50,000 with a Performance of the Night bonus.
UFC 311 is the next upcoming event for the biggest MMA organisation as the headliner sees Islam Makhachev defend his Lightweight title in a rematch against Arman Tsarukyan, while Merab Dvalishvili makes his first defence of the Bantamweight belt against Umar Nurmagomedov in the Co-Main Event.
