The Climate Pledge Arena hosted a showstopping night as MMA fans witnessed some wild knockouts, clever submissions, and close contested battles.

UFC Seattle certainly started off with a bang as Modestas Bukauskas earned a first-round knockout win against Rafael Cerqueira, making it two consecutive victories which have both ended in impressive fashion.

Nursulton Ruziboev didn't slow things down as he claimed a second-round TKO win to claim redemption, knocking down Eric McConico twice in round two as he gave the UFC debutant a rough time.

UFC newcomer, Austin Vanderford, made the most of his debut when he stopped Nikolay Veretennikov by second-round TKO, putting himself on a two-fight winning streak.

Ricky Simon arguably earned the most ferocious stoppage win of the night when he knocked Javid Basharat out cold in round one with a wicked right hand, redeeming his three-fight losing streak in his home state, as well as receiving a Performance of the Night bonus.

Abdul-Malik had a shaky start in round one when he was stunned by a spinning backfist from Nick Klein, however, he did comeback in round two to finish the Middleweight content with a second-round TKO win and maintain his 100% finish rate in MMA.

An unwise takedown attempt from Andre Fili led to Melquizael Costa taking full advantage and submit Touchy with a Guillotine Choke in the first round, making it two submission wins-in-a-row for the Brazilian.

The action-packed preliminary card ended with a wild one-round fight between Ion Cutelaba and Ibo Aslan which saw the Moldovan secure the victory with a Triangle Choke, earning his first submission win in the UFC.

After a jaw-dropping seven fights, UFC Seattle made its way to the main card as Alonzo Menifield and Julius Walker went into a three-round scrap with the #15 Light Heavyweight contender coming out as victorious by split decision. This battle would earn a Fight of the Night bonus.

Jean Silva had the pleasure of delivering the final finish of the night as a perfectly timed right hand sent Melsik Baghdasaryan crashing down to the canvas, before a hesitant stoppage from the referee allowed the Brazilian to do a bit more damage and earn the second Performance of the Night bonus.

Rob Font went into unknown territory when he faced UFC debutant, Jean Matsumoto, and did just enough to win by split decision as his stand-up game proved to make a difference in the Catchweight bout.

In a battle between two submission artists, Anthony Hernandez came out on top to repeat an unanimous decision win against Brendan Allen from their first contest at LFA 32. Fluffy rises up and enters the top 10 in the Light Heavyweight rankings.

The headliner had a thrilling start as Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong fought in a striking battle for three rounds. During the third round, The Kung Fu Kid poked the left eye of Triple C, causing the former two-division champion to lose vision.

Cejudo took all five minutes of recovery time before fighting the remainder of the third round, however, he was still unable to se out of his left eye and the bout was forced to end and go to a technical decision. Despite the disappointing end to such a fascinating event, Yadong claimed victory as he won by unanimous decision.

The UFC returns to the APEX next Saturday, showcasing a Flyweight headliner between the #6 contender, Manel Kape, and the #8 ranked fighter, Asu Almabayev.
