5. Julio Enciso
(Sussexlive,2023)
The 19 year old Paraguayan is one of my main shouts for this year. His price hasn't been revealed yet however I can't see him being a bank buster. The youngster started to break into the team later on in the season and displayed some good performances for the Seagulls. By no means am I saying he's a starter but he could be used as a solid bench player to say the least in case of last minute injuries.
4. Christopher Nkunku
(FootballLondon,2023)
It's fair to say that Chelsea's attacking threat or lack of attacking threat was lackluster last season and with the addition of Nkunku I can see improvements coming. The entry of the ex spurs man to the dressing room will most likely produce a positive impact in the attacking front and at the price of £7.5m this could quite well be a strong option to collect you some points.
3. Evan Ferguson
(SportingLife,2023)
Yet another Brighton player added to the list, but this one is sure to make more of an impact. As we all saw to the tail end of last season the Irish man made a strong impact to De Zerbis side and could quite well do the same again this year. Without having to splash the cash on Kane and Haaland, Ferguson could be a clever alternative so more money can be spent in other departments whilst still getting the points you need.
2. Jordan Beyer
(Lancs.Live,2023)
With the recent permanent move from Borussia Monchengladbach, Beyer will be a likely starter in Kompanys first year in the top flight. Being one of the Clarets standout players last year I can see this being a cheap but ideal selection. Worried about Burnley conceding? The infrastructure of the side has been defensively solid for years and I honestly can't see Kompany going into this season naively. It is hard for me to see anything other than a defensively sound back line and with him likely to be cheap- he could be a good option.
1. Bryan Mbeumo
(PremierLeague,2022)
For my final pick I have chosen a Brentford attacker. His time at Brentford has seen him fluctuate between midfield and attack however with Toneys ban I can see him having a more attacking impact. At just £6.5m the 23 year old could be a good option to pick up bonus points with him being selected as a midfielder this year. Could he be a similar Fantasy Premier League cheat code like Stuart Dallas a few years back? We will see!
Here are my wildcard selections that you may not have thought of so far. Don't forget to stay up to date on our social media to have a chance of winning prizes within our very own Fantasy Premier League.
