On July 20th, Jake Paul was originally set to face Mike Tyson for eight two-minute rounds, but sadly the fight would be postponed due to a medical issue from the former world champion. Luckily, Paul would still be able to fight as former UFC fighter and now Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) fighter, Mike Perry, goes toe-to-toe for eight rounds on his second Boxing match.

The Problem Child is not shy when it comes to facing fighters who have previously been with the UFC. In his third professional Boxing match, Paul would face Ben Askren in Atlanta back in April 2021 and earn a first-round TKO win.
The Social Media Influencer would then have a crack against former UFC Welterweight Champion, Tyron Woodley, four months later. Paul would get a hometown victory after defeating Woodley by split decision, despite the result sparking in a bit of controversy.
By the end of 2021, the Cleveland-born boxer would face Woodley in a rematch and would stop the fight in the sixth round after a spectacular knockout with a right hook.
Paul would also face former UFC Middleweight Champion, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz in a Boxing ring, beating them both by unanimous decision as well as earning a knockdown during those two fights.
In terms of facing experienced professional boxers, the 27-year-old has only fought three with one of them coming against Tommy Fury in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Fury would win the fight by split decision, staying undefeated and giving Paul his first loss in Boxing.
More recently in his career, Paul has faced less recognisable names, fighting the likes of Andre August and Ryan Bourland as he would knockout both opponents in the first round.
The American Youtuber is loved and hated across the globe as many of Paul's fans hope to see him continue his success on his Boxing journey, while many others hope they can see Paul receive his first knockout loss in Boxing.

Platinum has experienced many fights in Combat Sports, but the majority of those have come from MMA and Bare Knuckle Boxing. The 32-year-old is currently the #1 Pound-for-Pound BKFC fighter with his undefeated record of five wins in the Middleweight division.
The Michigan-born fighter has brought a lot of success and popularity into BKFC, facing many recognisable opponents such as Julian Lane, Michael 'Venom' Page and Thiago Alves.
Not forgetting that he has also faced former UFC Middleweight Champion, Luke Rockhold, and former UFC Lightweight Champion, Eddie Alvarez, as he defeated them both by TKO.
In MMA, Perry was seen as a deadly knockout artist at the start of his career, earning a nine-fight knockout winning streak just after he got his second win in the UFC which came in Manchester at UFC 204.
Perry would not have the greatest record in the UFC, leaving the organisation with seven wins and eight losses. Platinum did earn 11 KO/TKO victories out of 14 career wins and had only lost by TKO once in MMA which came against Geoff Neal at UFC 245.
The Florida resident has only had one professional Boxing match which happened back in March 2015, as he suffered a fourth-round knockout loss on his debut against Kenneth McNeil.
Perry is seen as a fan-favourite in the Combat Sports community and with plenty of people wanting Paul to lose this fight, Perry will have a lot of spectators on his side when the two boxers square off at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
👊 Having gone 5-0 in BKFC, Mike Perry is unstoppable.
