London makes it returns to hosting a UFC event since July 2023 as UK fans prepare for a night full of action at the O2 Arena. The headliner sees the #1 Welterweight contender, Leon Edwards, try to earn his title rematch as he takes on the #5 contender, Sean Brady. Here is what you need to know before it all commences.

Edwards' 13-fight unbeaten streak and title reign came to an end in his last bout when he lost to Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision at UFC 304.

Before his championship loss, the Jamaica-born fighter held victories over some of the most recognisable names in the UFC 170-pound division which included, Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington and Nate Diaz.

Despite only having four stoppage wins in the UFC, Rocky can finish a fight in impressive fashion as he holds seven knockouts and three submissions in his MMA career as his last one was the infamous head kick KO against Usman at UFC 278.

The former UFC Welterweight Champion currently stands at #1 in the rankings and with an eye to seek for a title rematch, he will hope to redeem himself in London and claim that trilogy fight with Muhammad.

Brady earned his way into the top five of the Welterweight division when he defeated Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 97.

The Philadelphia-born mixed martial artist has previously fought the current champion before, but lost by TKO at the end of round two at UFC 280, however, he still has big wins over Michael Chiesa and Kelvin Gastelum.

The American Welterweight has earned the majority of his wins by going the distance, but he can finish a fight at any time as he has claimed three TKO wins and five submissions.

The #5 contender has the best opportunity to put himself not only at the top of the 170-pound rankings, but earn a title shot and a possible rematch against Muhammad since he has only lost once in his entire career.

other fights you should look out for

Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg - Blachowicz has not fought since July 2023 when he just edged out a defeat to Alex Pereira at UFC 291, losing by split decision. The Polish fighter prefers to finish a fight rather than take it to the judges scorecards, earning nine knockouts and submissions in his MMA career. The #3 Light Heavyweight contender is looking for his first win since July 2022 as he aims to redeem himself and be one fight away from a title rematch with Magomed Ankalaev.

Ulberg is on a seven-fight winning streak after successfully beating Volkan Oezdemir by unanimous decision at UFC Macau. Black Jag loves to knock his opponents out, earning eight KO/TKO victories with half of those occurring in the UFC. The #6 Light Heavyweight contender has made a rapid rise up the rankings and a win against a former champion of the division could put him in title contention.

Nathaniel Wood vs Morgan Charriere - Wood redeemed himself in his last fight when he defeated Daniel Pineda by unanimous decision at UFC 304. The Prospect has 13 finishes in MMA, with eight of those ending by KO/TKO and five by submission, despite not having a stoppage win since March 2019. The English Featherweight has been close to possibly contesting for a place in the rankings as a big win in his hometown could make that happen.

Charriere also redeemed his last bout at UFC Paris where he defeated Gabriel Miranda by second-round knockout. The Last Pirate has stopped 15 out of 20 conquered opponents, earning 12 KO/TKO wins and three submissions. The Frenchman's last four victories have ended by knockout as he looks to find another one to upset his opponent in enemy territory.

Marcin Tybura vs Mick Parkin - Tybura found his way back in the win column after defeating Jhonata Diniz by second-round TKO (Doctor Stoppage) at UFC 309. With 26 triumphs in his MMA career, the Polish mixed martial artists has earned 17 stoppage wins with 10 ending by KO/TKO and seven by submission. The #8 Heavyweight contender is hoping to maintain his ranking, so he can move on to fighting a higher ranked opponent in the division.

Parkin remains undefeated in his career after picking up his first finish in the UFC when he stopped Lukasz Brzeski by first-round knockout. The Sunderland-born fighter has seven finishes with six by KO/TKO and one by submission as five of those have occurred in the first round. The #13 contender has the chance to enter the top 10 in the rankings and make a bigger name for himself as he aims to succeed in his home country.
